			"Meal is a Good medicine," means that eating well is the first key to staying healthy. Wishing for everyone's health in the new year, AK Gallery has prepared an exhibition of food topics with family, friends, and lovers. The exhibition of "Happy Dinner" will be joined by five artists who capture the positive energy of rice, and we hope that warm-hearted foods will revitalize the beginning of the new year. 

Mangmu decorates a virtual kitchen space with canned works made of real ingredients hardened into epoxy, models with cute animals matched with food, and patterned illustrations. The memory of making food with various ingredients in a small kitchen full of happy laughter is described as a funny look of the writer Mangmu. The unique textured food models with realistic expressions lead to a special dinner on our table after cooking, reminding us of the friendly dining scene we had together. 

WeSweet, who characterized the world's delicious snacks, tells the story of delicious desserts such as macarons, cupcakes, and donuts gaining life around Sugar. In this exhibition, We Sweet characters stand in front of us playing happily in the sweetness of pink candy land, inviting everyone who needs to recharge their sugar in their tired daily lives to a fantasy space.

Pipbap is a character that embodies rice that is responsible for our meals for more than 300 days out of 365 days a year. Along with Pipbap, the story of Korean soul food rice made by Mimi, Hipbap, and Kong friends is the journey of cute rice fairies struggling to be loved once again, feeling sorry for the decreasing consumption of rice. This story of the birth of Pipbap will remind us of the importance of rice that has been guarding our table for a long time, and will give us time to reconsider the preciousness of a meal together. 

Ha Younghee draws pictures of kimchi that cannot be left out of our table. Kimchi, which has many shapes and colors, stimulates vision and smell at the same time with the color and strong scent of red seasoning. The artist uses watercolors to express the watery seasonings, and the hard and smooth texture of the bowl is expressed in oil paintings to preserve the characteristics of the kimchi. We are always together, but I hope you can face our kimchi in a new space that you haven't seen in a long time. 

The sweet smell and various colors from the sweet dessert make you feel good just by looking at them. Hong Myunghwa's lovely dessert work presents a new dessert created by cloth and thread by applying colorful colors to the cloth and embroidered it with sewing. You can imagine a happy dessert time with a friend or lover while watching a piece of cake, chocolate, candy, etc. 
Food is a precious being in our lives, and the relationship with good food increases the happiness index in our daily lives. I hope that the various food stories of the artists introduced will come as lively seeds in their tired daily lives and comfort us, and that this exhibition will be a healthy time to say hello to each other with the food that protects our table as always.
